in a few weeks we will be trying new things and will be far away from this land for a while. i can’t quite believe that this moment is here and i’m quite missing this place already. i have had a funny relationship with this island since I arrived, a very young version of me struggled understanding a whole new culture, a whole new humour and a whole new world, yet it wasn’t even 3 months after the first time i went back home that I was coming back again - there seems to be something here that has kept me coming back (beyond a wonderful husband!), its like i have ‘unfinished business’ here...
im impatient to see what the future will bring, and if it will once again bring us back here. but for now, i’d like to share some of the shades of this place that has been home for so long starting with that marvellous green
