eso fue lo que vi nada mas aterrizar en el aeropuerto.
y es que al margen de políticas, de unos partidos u otros, en mi opinión, en mi país la idea del patriotismo ha sido usada siempre por ambos bandos y ha estado empañada y mezclada con tabúes y simbolismos e ideas heredadas de generaciones anteriores. incluso hoy en los periódicos se habla tanto por una parte como de la otra del uso de ‘la roja’ como nombre para designar a la selección... se acabara algún día todo esto?
al margen de que ganemos hoy o no, quería compartir estas fotos del último partido contra alemania en madrid y este video con la canción del mundial en español que alguien ha hecho en honor a estos magníficos jugadores, que aunque sea por unos días han conseguido mucho mas que llegar a la final de una copa del mundo

flags in the windows, that’s what i saw from the moment i arrived to the airport in madrid.
besides any political views, in my opinion, the patriot feeling in my home country of spain has always been used by one political side or the other for their campaigns and the concept of showing your country support by showing your flag, ‘singing’ the hymn (our hymn doesn’t have lyrics) etc… has always been tinted by taboos and old inherited ideas mixed with those political campaigns, and what’s ‘normal’ everywhere else (the use of all these symbols that should show nothing else that your belonging to a group culturally and socially) here has always been something that a lot of people wouldn’t do.
even in the last few days all over the news one can read about the two main political parties (right and left parties) speaking about the fact that the spanish team is called ‘la roja’ (‘the red one’)… will this nonsense ever stop?
even if we don’t win today, i’d like to share these pictures from the last match against germany in madrid and this video with the worldcup spanish official song that somebody has put together for these great players, that even if its for a few days, have achieved a lot more than getting to the final.

hace unas semanas, en la última visita a londres que hicimos estuve a punto de reservar el yotel situado dentro del aeropuerto de gatwick. teníamos sólo unas horas en la ciudad, y nuestro siguiente vuelo era a las 6am, además, creía que podía ser una experiencia diferente. en el último momento, nos pareció que podía ser de lo más claustrofóbico e incómodo teniendo otro viaje largo por delante, y decidimos no hacer la reserva.
ahora viendo estas imágenes del capsule inn in japón, creo que una habitación en el yotel puede alojar a una familia entera!
